The Interior Design of a two storey penthouse addition to an existing building in London's trendy Clerkenwell.

The client wanted a warm but quiet background for their collection of art and artefacts, they wanted subtle reference to South East Asia.

The Penthouse front door opens to reveal a picture gallery upholstered with suede wall panels beneath an integrated picture rail. The view from here to the double height kitchen ends with a stair leading to the mezzanine living space which has fantastic panoramic views over London’s skyline.

The dining area was given subtle screening with semi translucent woven panels, Asian inspired art on a sliding wall reveals a study and hidden bathroom.

Bedrooms were made luxuriously comfortable with sound and light insulation a priority. Bathrooms and storage are clean and modern but doors are enhanced with handwoven silk coverings and bespoke crafted details. The sophisticated Asian theme is supported by beautiful artwork, objects and photographs.
