The replanning and Interior Design of a house in Highagte.

A typically poor conversion had left the main reception room with a confused plan and a strong sense that it was still really two rooms.

A radical solution, requiring some structural intervention resolved these issues. Beams were raised, a curvy wall installed to unify the two spaces into one living room while, at client request, retaining both fireplaces. A bespoke rug design flows through the space like spilt cream, further unifying the fluid space.

Furniture compliments the plan and gives ample seating and flexibility. The furniture allows the room to have more than one use and different focal points on different occasions.

Dining room, bedrooms and bathroom were all brought up to date.
