The complete re-modelling of and extension to an artisan’s cottage in Camden, London.
This little house had been a sweet shop, was badly neglected and needed an imaginative reinvention to give it a new life as a family home and workspace.
The house was gutted and restored with good insulation throughout, some concealed in a curvy wall that opens up to close off the open plan stair from the living room. A glazed dining extension and a stylish new studio space in the garden transformed the property into a comfortable family home and adjacent workspace.
